Driving
along the R101 about 50km from the downtown of Beijing, you
will arrive at Beijing Jingwei Industrial Zone located in Beifang
Town. In 1996, Beifang planned to establish an industrial zone,
and from then on, Beijing Jingwei Industrial Zone has spent
over RMB 100 million Yuan into the development of infrastructure
on the area of 3.2 km2. As an environmentally protected high-tech
park, it has been considered as one of the key industrial bases
of Huairou, as well as the radiation zone of Zhongguancun High-tech

namely, power electronic industry, environmental protection
equipment industry, costume industry and new type building materials

Yuan. And the annual output of 2006 was estimated to reach RMB
5 billion Yuan.
