Huairou is a national demonstration area for film and television industry.

Back in May, 2014, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television officially agreed to establish Huairou Film&Television Industry Park (HRFT), the first of its kind at national level. Presently, the industry park has pooled together a number of film&television giants like China Film Group Corporation, Stellar MegaMedia, and over 600 related companies including Bona Film Group, Huayi Brothers Media Group, Hairun Film Group, Jinyingma Media Co., LTD and Galloping Horse Group.
